Delivering professional level performance, Hot Seat Custom Rods are designed around MHX's ever-popular Carbon Steel Intermediate Modulus Graphite blanks. Incredibly strong, reliable and super sensitive, each rod also features Hot Seat's Custom Finish. This proprietary finish involves a unique flake application and polishing process that requires no gloss or paint coating, in turn, maximizing each rod’s incredible sensitivity and lightweight balance - key features for the aggressive tournament angler.
Fuji tangle-free, Silicone Carbide guides adorn our rods. Made of SiC ceramic rings these tough-as-nails guides offer serious durability - specifically engineered for tough braided line conditions. Unique, custom colored Fuji SK2 reel seats provide direct access to the blank - increasing sensitivity transfer. Comfortable 3.75 inch cork handles designed specifically so that the casting hand remains in contact with cork throughout the cast, and most importantly - THE HOOK SET!.
